Founded by Mark Shayda
SysCore Digital Engineering, LLC was founded in 2024 by Mark Shayda, a systems engineer with 24+ years of experience spanning defense programs, federal agencies, federal health IT, and the cloud-native industry.
That background includes engineering and securing systems for the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, U.S. Combatant Commands, the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Defense Health Agency (DHA); leading solution architecture for major federal programs; building and leading engineering teams; advising on federal health IT and electronic health record (EHR) modernization, including VA/DoD interoperability and architecture integration; and years of hands-on Kubernetes and cloud platform work with leading cloud-native software companies.
SysCore Digital brings that enterprise- and mission-grade experience to organizations of any size — from small businesses to government programs — across public cloud, on-premises, edge, and air-gapped environments.
